About UTM Harbor

Campaign links should be reviewable before they ship.

UTM Harbor is a small, browser-based workbench for marketers who have outgrown one-link-at-a-time forms but do not need another account or campaign database.

The problem it addresses

A UTM link can be valid and still fragment a report. Case differences, aliases, missing fields, duplicate parameters, and spreadsheet edits are easy to miss when a campaign spans many landing pages and channels.

UTM Harbor keeps generation and review in one workflow: define a small naming policy, build or import a batch, inspect changes, audit already-published links, and export the result.

How it handles data

The application runs in the browser. Campaign URLs, naming rules, recent batch summaries, and generated CSV files are not sent to an application server. Rules and short history summaries can be stored in the browser’s local storage so they are available on the same device.

Deliberate limits

UTM Harbor does not shorten links, count clicks, read a Google Analytics property, host team accounts, or test whether arbitrary landing pages are online. Those features require backend services, credentials, or cross-site requests. The product focuses on URL structure and naming consistency.

Standards

Parameter support follows the current Google Analytics campaign URL guidance. Recommendations such as lowercase naming, stable separators, and controlled vocabularies are operational conventions intended to keep reports consistent.
